Procurement is the process the Municipality uses to purchase goods and services. This must be done in an open and transparent manner. The Municipality uses a variety of methods to purchase these goods and services, all outlined in the pdf Procurement and Purchasing Policy.(311 KB)
The Municipality of Yarmouth will, from time to time, issue public Requests for Proposal or Tenders and other requests for which competitive responses are required.
Tenders, Requests for proposals (RFP), and other competitive procurement requests may be posted through the Nova Scotia government tender notices website:

Request for Legal Services
The Municipality of the District of Yarmouth is seeking proposals for legal services from July 2026 to August 1, 2031. The Municipal Solicitor will provide legal guidance on by-laws, legislation, contracts, property, and other municipal matters.
